Welcome to my blog! Thank you for being here! To give you a little bit of background, I've been wanting to start a blog for quite some time. I've been documenting my outfits on Instagram for as long as I can remember but I never had the guts to actually start the writing portion of blogging. I always felt like I didn't know what to say and was worried that no one would even be interested in reading it.
About a year ago, I had one too many glasses of wine one night and started a very amateur, very low quality blog and then woke up the next morning and deleted it immediately before it could ever see the light of day. I was so scared of what people would think of me. I was trying too hard. I was seeking attention. I should not even bother trying because I'm just gonna fail anyways. Then, it occurred to me that none of that really mattered. I wasn't doing this for any other reason than to have a creative outlet and maybe help other women in the process.
I feel like social media can create an illusion that everyone has a perfect life, a perfect relationship, a perfect career and I can promise you that no one's life is perfect - filters and stories and highlight reels make it look perfect. All of that being said, I want to be real with you guys. I'm nowhere near perfect and that's not the impression that I want to make. Authenticity is my goal here.
So here I am, on my 23rd birthday, finally going for it. Thank you so much for reading and supporting this little hobby of mine! I'm not sure where it will take me but I'm excited for what's to come.
